MAIN PROCESSES SMAW Shielded Metal Arc (also known as MMA - Manual Metal Arc in Europe GMAW Gas Metal Arc (also known as MIG/MAG - Inert and Active Gas GTWA Gas Tungsten Arc(also known as TIG - Tungsten Inert Gas FCAW Flux Cord Arc MAIN POSITIONS Fillet welder 1F, 2F, 3F and 4F Pipe welder 5G and 6G OUTCOME OF TRAINING The outcome depends on the student's ability to deposit sound weld metal in any joint with a process and position of your choice. Successful students will receive a certificate of competency detailing current level of skill.
